Sanitary Verification and Inspection Point (PVIZI)
The Sanitary Verification and Inspection Point for Importation’s purpose is to offer load maneuver services and, given the case, storage of goods regulated by the Ministry for importation and exportation, as well as those purposes determined by the Ministry during compliance with inspection and certification of goods or the mitigation of animal health, phytosanitary and aquaculture risks through the corresponding authorization.
SENASICA shall authorize or acknowledge the establishments for inspection of the following goods at the Sanitary Verification and Inspection Point for Importation:
Products or byproducts of animal origin, fresh or frozen.
Agreement by which the General Guidelines are set forth for authorization, operation and, given the case, acknowledgment of establishments for inspection and verification of goods regulated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Agricultural Development through the National Service for Agro-Alimentary Public Health Safety and Quality, in foreign trade transactions:
